The Thalassa Arte Project
Thalassa Arte is a personal project born in 2007 from a lifelong connection to art, craftsmanship, and a love of quality and detail. For over 50 years, my family has lived and breathed artistic expression shaped by culture, travel, heritage, and a deep passion for creativity.
A major part of this journey is the world of Metal Engraving—a rare and intricate art form that my father has mastered like no one else for the last 60 years. His ability to transform metal into something truly unique isn’t just about creativity, it´s about preserving a craft that requires skill, patience, precision, and an understanding of the material at its core. Growing up around his work, I learned that real artistry is more than something you appreciate and admire; it carries history, emotion, and the creator’s own story.
Beyond its nature and meaning, I strongly believe art should be lived with. In a world where spaces are increasingly uniform, surrounding ourselves with meaningful pieces sparks creativity, originality, and a sense of identity. Art does not have to be confined to the walls; it can be placed above a piece of furniture, against a wall, inside a shelf, next to a large plant, on our office desk, inside a notebook... Think differently about how art can live in your space, not just as decoration, but as something that shifts the atmosphere and adds personality.
This is why I created Thalassa: to make art more accessible, not just for those in our inner circle but for anyone who values craftsmanship and authenticity.
Through this online gallery, we offer a selection of smaller works for direct purchase, but the collection includes larger statement pieces and commissioned works.
